Disney World

The trip began with a long long car ride...

The anticipation was almost too much.

"Is this some kind of mean trick?"

Getting into the theme park from the car is kind of an ordeal. You have to wait in line to get into the parking lot, then wait some more to actually park, wait some more to get on a tram to take you to the shuttle, where you wait some more as you ride into the park. And wait again to purchase tickets. We kept telling Aimee that we were almost there. I don't think she believed us.

The boys

Was it worth the 45 minute wait? Aimee thought so!

Crusin' the Magic Kingdom.

Totem of awkwardness. This one is a real gem.

Jack is wary of those pirates.

This is pretty much the expression we got from Aimee any time we asked her to smile for the camera. I promise she had a good time.
(Most delicious funnel cake EVER)

Aimee waved her little heart out the entire parade. It paid off because she got some hugs and hi-fives from some of the characters as they came down the street.

Lights on the castle at night - very cool

Asking Aimee to smile again.

Token family picture in front of the castle.

Exhaustion.

I wish someone could carry me in a giant bjorn.

There you have it! We finally got to go! I think I was the most excited out of all of us. We braved the Christmas crowds and toured the Magic Kingdom. Aimee got to experience the wonder that is Disney for the first time ever! (All you California family are so lucky) Jack was super good the entire day (one minor diaper blowout). We got to ride Dumbo, Pirates, Small World, Peter Pan, and Snow White. We also did the Monster's Inc Laugh Factory, and saw a few other performances - including the Christmas Parade, which was pretty cool. All in all the trip was a success! Thanks mom and dad!!
